I bought this mainly for frying chicken wings, and it’s been great. The basket fits nicely inside the pot and the handle stays easy to hold while cooking. It also doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen.

I’ve used this a few times for frying chicken and fries, and it works really well. The basket makes it much easier to lift the food out and let the excess oil drain. Cleanup is pretty simple too.

Honestly, this is much more convenient than using a regular pot and a separate strainer. I made homemade fries with it and could easily lift the whole batch out at once. Very happy with it so far.
